Traditional reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that encourages the body to balance and heal itself. It involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet. These points, or reflexes, map the organs and structure of the body as well as a person’s emotional wellbeing.
Traditional Reflexology has many benefits, including easing symptoms of physical ailments such as period pains, endometriosis, headaches and migraines, digestive issues such as irritable bowel syndrome; sciatica or other back related problems, improved circulation and blood flow, reduction of swelling of localised areas, plantar fasciitis, insomnia, hormone imbalances; as well as easing feelings of stress and anxiety.

Fertility reflexology enhances reproductive health by applying pressure to specific reflex points on the feet. This therapy aims to balance hormones, improve blood flow, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being.
The benefits of fertility reflexology are extensive, aiding those facing fertility challenges or undergoing conventional fertility treatments. It helps regulate menstrual cycles, alleviate symptoms of PCOS and endometriosis, and enhance uterine lining health. Additionally, it reduces anxiety and stress, which can negatively impact fertility. By addressing both physical and emotional aspects of reproductive health, fertility reflexology provides a natural, comprehensive approach to increasing the chances of conception

Post 37-weeks
For many expectant parents, Reflexology in the weeks leading up to birth has become a go-to natural alternative to more medicalised interventions, in an attempt to bring on labour. Studies have proven that regular Reflexology, from 37 weeks, helps to shorten labour duration and often reduces the need for medical interventions by promoting overall well-being and preparing the body for a smoother birth. Stimulating specific reflex points promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and balances the body's energy, which eases the physical and emotional strains of pregnancy and childbirth. Whilst there is no guarantee that Reflexology will stimulate labour, when experiencing an uncomplicated and healthy pregnancy, many people prefer to try this alternative method prior to accepting a medicalised induction.

Postnatal reflexology is a wonderfully relaxing experience, promoting holistic healing and well-being for new mothers. This form of reflexology aims to restore hormonal balance, alleviate stress and fatigue, and support recovery after childbirth. Benefits include improved circulation, reduced anxiety, enhanced sleep quality, and relief from common postnatal issues such as back pain and constipation.
By stimulating the body's natural healing processes, postnatal reflexology contributes to physical and emotional wellness during the postpartum period.
Both Mum and baby are welcome to attend the appointment together, if you wish. If your baby is experiencing constipation, trapped wind or digestive issues, we can spend a few minutes gently working these reflexes on baby to help alleviate their discomfort.

Reflexology for newborns and children is generally a shorter session. I apply a gentle pressure to the feet, focusing on specific points to help alleviate digestive issues, shoulder, neck and spine imbalances, aid sleep, remove toxins, ease teething discomfort and promote a sense of calm and improved mood.
Through the use of positive touch, reflexology stimulates the release of oxytocin - the happy hormone - which encourages the body to relax and regulate itself. Regular treatments can help children and babies feel calmer and sleep better.
